Quiet I do's, from New Zealand to Australia.
Eloping Weddings was not born in a corporate planning suite. It was born on a wild, wind-swept headland in New Zealand in 2016, when our founder stood with a couple who had abandoned a guest list of two hundred people to marry in near silence. There were no microphones, no white chair covers, no timelines. Just two voices, almost lost in the sea breeze, saying words they actually meant.
We realised then that an elopement is not a compromised wedding. It is not a secondary choice for those who want to save money or avoid family drama, though it often accomplishes both. It is a deliberate, premium choice to place the actual love story back at the centre of the wedding day. Since then, we have quietly walked alongside couples from New Zealand, Australia, the UK, the USA and Singapore, designing days that belong entirely to them.
We have coordinated helicopter landings on clifftops that look like the edge of the world, arranged quiet hinterland exchanges under flowering gums, and stood as the legal witnesses on deserted golden beaches. Our purpose is simple: to carry every logistical thread so that when the moment comes, you can simply stand still in it.

Our three quiet promises.
Presence Over Performance
We believe a wedding day should feel like a memory, not a theatrical production. Our couples don't perform for a crowd or walk to a choreographer's beat. We design the schedule around your natural rhythm, leaving space for a quiet coffee at sunrise, a slow walk along the sand, and long pauses to simply breathe together before you say your vows.
Nature As Our Cathedral
Australia has been blessed with some of the most stunning wedding settings on Earth. We do not need artificial decorations, arches of imported flowers, or satin drapes. Whether it is a windswept coastal headland, the green hush of the hinterland, or the quiet shore of a secret beach, we let the ancient landscape speak for itself and hold your ceremony beautifully.
Every Thread, Gently Held
We do not ask you to deal with multiple vendors, manage spreadsheets, or worry about weather contingencies. From the celebrant, the photographer and the legal paperwork to the helicopter pilot, the florist and the dinner reservation, we orchestrate every single detail with quiet precision, so you are entirely free to enjoy being in love.

Meet the souls who protect your day.
We are a small, tight-knit collective of planners, celebrants, photographers and pilots who share a common belief: that weddings should be simple, honest and incredibly beautiful. We don't run a factory-style elopement agency. We only host two elopements per week across Australia, ensuring every couple receives our full focus, weather-contingency devotion and quiet presence.
Our celebrants are chosen for their warmth and storytelling, not just their licence. Our photographers are masters of quiet light, trained to document your day without making you pose or perform. And our helicopter pilots are among the most experienced coastal flyers in Australia, capable of finding secret, windswept ridges where the rest of the world completely disappears.
Curated with extraordinary local souls.
We believe that an elopement is only as good as the people who hold it. Over the years, we have built a highly exclusive network of local partners who treat your day with the reverence it deserves.

"We chose a headland above Byron Bay over a hall full of strangers. Best decision of our lives. The team held the day so gently it felt like the coastline itself was watching us say our vows."Ana & Tom · Byron Bay · February 2025
