Slow mornings, golden light,
and the two of you.
This is Noosa.

Home Destinations Noosa
Nearly a decade of quiet love. Since 2016 we have quietly helped couples step away from the big traditional wedding and simply be present — first across New Zealand, and now in the golden beauty of Australia. Every elopement is thoughtfully designed, calmly run, and beautifully remembered.

A coastline that doesn’t perform, it lingers.

Tucked between the forested headlands of Noosa National Park and the slow, tea-coloured drift of the Noosa River, this is the Sunshine Coast at its most unhurried. Mornings begin with mist on the water and the soft clatter of paddle boards; afternoons fade into gold over Main Beach. There is a particular ease to Noosa, a sense that the place would rather you slowed down than performed, and couples feel it the moment they arrive. It is the kind of setting that turns a small, private ceremony into something you carry with you for the rest of your lives.

For couples drawn to a wedding that feels less like an event and more like a moment carved into the landscape itself, Noosa is where it begins. A few of our most-loved ceremonies have happened here: barefoot on the firm sand of Main Beach at first light, beneath a flowering arbour in a hidden hinterland garden, on a quiet timber boardwalk where the bush meets the bay. The decision is never about choosing ‘small’. It’s about choosing what matters.

Three ways to say I do in Noosa.

A coastline designed for love.

Six quiet reasons couples keep choosing Noosa: the geography, the warmth, the unspoken privilege of standing somewhere very few people ever stand.

01

The Headland Backdrop

The forested headland of Noosa National Park curves behind every coastal ceremony, glowing green at sunrise and warm gold as the afternoon softens into evening.

02

Laguna Bay Calm

On still mornings the bay lies so flat it mirrors the sky, and standing at the water’s edge feels like the whole coast has paused to watch.

03

Year-Round Ceremony Weather

Noosa’s gentle sub-tropical climate gives us warm, reliable days for most of the year, soft winters, golden shoulder seasons and long summer light. Every month has a postcard to offer.

04

Golden Hour Magic

The coast and the light conspire here. Late afternoon turns soft and copper for almost an hour, long enough for vows, kisses, and a slow wander along the sand before sunset.

05

Quiet Cove Access

We know the hidden coves and sheltered pockets of sand along the national park coastline, small bays reached on foot where it can feel like the beach belongs only to you.

06

Hinterland Garden Ceremonies

Just inland, the hinterland blooms with frangipani, flowering gums and native blossom, a naturally beautiful ceremony aisle no council could ever plant.

Planning Timeline

From first hello to “I do”.

From the first message in your inbox to the moment your ring catches the morning light over Laguna Bay, your day moves through four quiet steps. Every detail is held by us, you only have to arrive.

01
Enquire & dream together

A long, no-pressure conversation about who the two of you are, what you don’t want, and the moment you’d quietly choose.

02
We sketch your day

We draft a bespoke sketch with three location options, a celebrant we trust, and a photographer whose work makes you feel something.

03
We hold every thread

Bouquet, licence, witnesses, weather contingencies, the dinner reservation, the surprise. Every thread, carried so you don’t have to.

04
You simply arrive

And the day unfolds the way the best days always do, gently, exactly itself, and over far too quickly.

“We came to Noosa thinking we’d booked a wedding. What we got was an entire morning of our lives placed gently in someone else’s hands, and a photograph we’ll grow old underneath.”
